Valmet will build its fourth service center in China, in the city of Beihai, to further develop its local presence in the fast-growing pulp and paper industry in the Guangxi province. Valmet's new Guangxi Service Center will be in operation by the fourth quarter in 2023.

Shandong Huatai Paper decided to rebuild and modernize PM 11 in order to progressively convert newsprint production to high-quality graphic paper.

Metsä Fibre and the construction company Lehto Group have entered into an agreement to build an ecological operating office from wood for the Kemi bioproduct mill in Finland. The operating office will have a high degree of Finnish origin, approximately 80%, Finnish wood and high-quality products made from it will play a major role in the construction project.

The new equipment will be installed on PM7 at Linping's Xiao mill and startup is scheduled for 2022.

Valmet will supply a paper machine grade conversion rebuild to one of its major customers in Indonesia. In the project, paper machine, which was originally producing fine paper grades, will be rebuilt to produce brown grades.

Eczacibasi Consumer Products has chosen Valmet as the supplier for their new tissue line, which will be installed at the company's Manisa Plant in Turkey. The new Valmet Advantage DCT 200TS line, including stock-preparation, automation and Focus rewinder will support the company's rapid growth in global tissue paper markets.

Solenis, a leading global producer of specialty chemicals, is joining forces with Pulpex Limited and its global consortium partners to collaborate on the ongoing evolution of the Pulpex eco-friendly paper bottle.

Andritz Inc., a member of international technology Group Andritz, has been selected by Domtar Corporation to provide equipment and technical services for conversion of a power boiler and a recovery boiler at their Kingsport paper mill, in Kingsport, Tennessee, USA. This mill will be converted into Domtar's first packaging facility.

Valmet will deliver equipment and services for a rebuild of the hardwood pulp line at Holmen's Iggesund mill in Sweden. The rebuild will cut variable costs and improve production stability. The work will be implemented during the second half of 2022.

International technology Group Andritz has received an order from Shandong Huatai Paper Industry Shareholding to upgrade an existing BCTMP (bleached chemi-thermo-mechanical pulp) plant to become the world's largest mechanical pulping line for P&W (Printing & Writing) paper production at the mill in Dongying, Shandong province, China. Start-up is scheduled for the 4Q 2022.

International technology Group ANDRITZ has launched CircleToZero®, a holistic program for the pulp-producing industry with the goal of providing strong support to customers in their efforts to achieve maximum, sustainable production, aiming at zero emissions and zero waste production.

GrandBay Group placed an order with Toscotec for one AHEAD 2.2L complete tissue line to be installed at its subsidiary Papelera Internacional in Rio Hondo Zacapa, Guatemala. The start-up is scheduled for late 2022.

Toscotec has received an order from Sappi to supply a TT SYD Steel Yankee Dryer to their mill in Stanger, South Africa. The TT SYD was delivered in record time only 20 weeks after the order. The start-up is planned for the 3Q 2021.

Andritz has received an order from ST Paper to supply a new tissue machine for its recently acquired site in Duluth, Minnesota, USA. Start-up is planned for the end of 2022.

International technology group ANDRITZ is supplying major energy-efficient and environmentally friendly pulp production technologies and key process equipment for Bracell's Project "STAR" in the city of Lençóis Paulista, São Paulo state, Brazil.

Valmet will supply the ninth tissue line delivery, including an extensive automation package, to Turkish tissue producer Hayat Kimya. The company has decided to invest in a new tissue machine at their new mill in Russia, with a target to meet the increasing demand for their high-quality tissue products. The new line will add 70,000 tons of tissue to their current production of facial, toilet and towel tissues. The start-up is planned for the end of 2022.

Valmet will supply a conversion from paper machine to fluff pulp drying machine at Daio Paper Corporation's Mishima mill in Japan. The delivery will include new machinery, rebuilds and automation in the pulp drying line and reel system in the existing paper machine PM15.
