WILMINGTON, Del. The award, sponsored by Deloitte* Private and The Wall Street Journal, recognizes the achievements of U.S. private companies and the successes of their management teams.

"We are proud of the hard work and expertise our leadership team and exceptional workforce have exhibited to receive this award for the fourth consecutive year," said Philip M. Enhanced with a broader portfolio and larger global footprint, we've enriched our offering to customers while maintaining a world-class employee experience, attaining top sustainability ratings and exceeding our financial commitment to shareholders."

Best Managed Companies is part of a global Deloitte Private program. Honorees are selected by an external panel of judges who evaluate applicants based on strategy, ability to execute, culture, governance and financial performance. They join an ecosystem of organizations from more than 44 countries.

Valmet is to deliver a bale tester to Papresa's paper mill in Errentería, Spain. Valmet bale tester is a reliable and real-time measuring system for recovered paper, providing an opportunity to reduce operational costs and to improve the recycled fiber line performance.

The value of the order will not be disclosed. The scheduled delivery period will be during the Q4 2024.

Papresa is currently lacking a reliable system to control the quality of recovered paper delivered to the mill. Valmet bale tester measures the moisture and other contaminants, such as plastic and ash of the recovered paper. The information is automatically stored in the mill's database, analyzed, and further utilized for optimizing the production process.

Valmet's delivery will include the installation of Valmet bale tester On-truck solution, extended with ash and lignin sensors and related software, the system's start-up and a spare parts package. The On-truck model measures the raw material samples directly from the bale onboard the truck.

Papresa is a Spanish paper production company with over 125 years in the market. At the Errenteria mill it houses two bleaching plants, three paper production lines, a steam plant and a water treatment plant. Papresa produces 375,000 tonnes of 100% recycled newsprint paper, light fluting, testliner and other specialities.
