The PM40 closed 10 October 2008 down 50.96% compared wiht the 12 October 2007 level. Over the same period, the Rydex Equal-Weight S&P 500 Index lost 43.04%. Of the 40 constituent companies of the PM40, only Rock-Tenn has achieved an increase in share value over the last year.
