Weinfelden, Switzerland 23 November 2015 -- Swiss paper and packaging manufacturer Model Group is to build a third corrugated board and packaging plant in Nowa Sól in western Poland.

The company reports it has bought an industrial site with a production and a warehousing facility. Both facilities have a combined area of 20,500 square metres. The company did not commend on the planned capacities or a schedule for ramping up production at the new site.

From the new site Model will serve customers in western Poland, but also eastern Germany, the company added. The group already operates two corrugated board and packaging facilities in the east of Poland - in Biłgoraj and Czosnów.
