Ledinek to supply CLT production line to Crescent Mill in California

Ledinek announces its latest project - supplying a CLT production line to the USA. The line will be installed at Crescent Mill in Northern California, near the Nevada state border.

This project is particularly noteworthy, as it is part of Sierra Institute's initiative to revitalize areas impacted by the decline of industries such as mining and ironworks. By strengthening the wood processing sector, Sierra Institute aims to support economic renewal.

The design of this CLT line is relatively straightforward but optimized for high machine utilization and production capacity.

The capacity of the line is 60 m3/shift and consists of the following machines: X-Cut 200, the new Kontizink H 1700 finger jointing machine developed specially for the US market, the Europlan 4V-S120 planer, a XE-Press (45 feet) and the Ledinek glue application system.

Ledinek looks forward to the first shipments at the end of the summer and the start of the installation process, beginning with the XE-Press and the Kontizink finger jointing machine.
