Kadant Canada Hosts Technical Drying Seminar in Québec for Paper Industry Professionals


TROIS-RIVIÈRES, Québec -- Kadant Canada Corp., a subsidiary of Kadant Inc. (NYSE: KAI), recently hosted a technical seminar on optimizing the paper drying process for mill managers, process engineers, production leaders, and technical managers representing seven paper companies.

"The seminar was developed to provide participants with proven strategies for improving drying performance and operational efficiency."

Held at Innofibre in Trois-Rivières, a research and technology development center serving the pulp and paper industry, the seminar was led by four specialists from Kadant. Presentation topics included improving drying rates and sheet uniformity, increasing system efficiency, optimizing steam and condensate management, and enhancing equipment performance.

Attendees examined energy-saving opportunities, maintenance strategies, and advanced control technologies that can reduce operating costs. The seminar provided a forum for cross-functional participants to discuss operating challenges, share best practices, and examine practical approaches for improving drying system performance.
