STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (From news reports) -- Firefighters responded to a report of a fire at a Pratt paper mill Sunday night, Dec. 1.
The blaze was reported around 7:20 p.m. at Pratt Industries Paper Mill, located at 4435 Victory Blvd. near Wild Avenue, according to an FDNY spokesperson.
Twelve units and 60 firefighters were able to bring the fire under control just after 8 p.m., said the FDNY. EMS units were also on scene.
No injuries were reported.
Fire marshals are currently investigating the cause of the incident, the spokesperson said.
