Kingsey Falls, Québec (News release) - Cascades is pleased to announce that its 60th anniversary mural project at its Kingsey Falls plant is now complete. The work was conceived and painted by Sherbrooke muralist Nicolas Lareau.
"Our 60th anniversary is an opportunity to highlight our values and our history. This mural project is in line with Cascades' desire to leave its mark on the regional landscape by embellishing the environment in which it operates," says Hugues Simon, President and CEO of Cascades.
"Working on this project allowed me to get to know the Kingsey Falls community and the bond it has developed with Cascades over the years," explains muralist Nicolas Lareau. "Producing a work like this for the community is a generous gesture on the part of Cascades. This project is undoubtedly one of the finest artistic collaborations I've done with a company, and I hope the public will enjoy it."
