The Final Word by Jim Thompson

We have had a number of articles about RPAS (Remotely Powered Aircraft Systems) in Paperitalo Publications lately. We have discussed the negatives and positives of these, When people engage me in conversations on the topic, which they are doing since we raised awareness, they come up with questions such as, "Well, the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) will take care of this 'problem.'" Trust me, the FAA, the air regulatory body in the United States, is so far behind on this subject that it will take a small disaster or two before they pay attention. In the meantime, if you are in charge of security, you need to be aware of the good and the bad RPAS will bring you soon.
