The Final Word by Helen Roush
Print

If you receive our monthly Capital Arguments newsletter, you’re probably aware of the Engineering Manager of the Year award.

For review, since its inception, Capital Arguments has believed extraordinary projects are possible. They can be done safely, responsibly and offer a great advantage to their mills with lower capital costs and saved downtime. We established this award in 2008 to recognize those people and companies that follow this philosophy. This award is given once per year somewhere in the world.

We are currently in the process of reviewing potential candidates for Engineer Manager of the Year, and are issuing a “last call” of sorts for this prestigious award.

Simply put, we want to recognize the best of the best, and if you know of someone who has completed an extraordinary project, let us know.

Just send your nomination to Paperitalo CEO Jim Thompson at jthompson@taii.com with “EMOY Nomination” in the subject line.

Helen Roush is Vice President, Communications Sciences at Paperitalo Publications. She can be reached by email at helen.roush@taii.com.
