Roseburg, Oregon, USA 11 August 2015 -- Roseburg Forest Products Co. announced today that it has agreed to purchase from SierraPine the Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) facility located in Medford, OR. While details of the transaction are not available, the acquisition is contemplated to close by mid to late September 2015.

Allyn Ford, CEO for Roseburg, stated "We look forward to the addition of the MDF product line to our portfolio. The Medite® brand is well recognized in the industry, and will be an excellent complement to our current offering of composite products. This acquisition will bring with it a variety of niche products that will enhance Roseburg's value in the market. The Medford, Oregon plant is a well-run facility and we anticipate a smooth transition. The acquisition represents a key strategic move for Roseburg in our composite panel business."
